It’s been some time since our last blog update, and we’re thrilled to reconnect with you. Since our involvement in the SCORE Marathon 2024, we’ve quietly but diligently been evolving, expanding our partnerships, refining our processes, and breathing new life into plastic waste through design and innovation.
Natureloop has always stood for more than just recycled materials. We believe in turning waste into meaningful stories, and over the past year, we’ve had the honour of contributing to events and initiatives that reflect just that. From collaborating with global automotive leaders to supporting impactful local causes, 2024 has been a year of movement, literally and metaphorically, for sustainability at Natureloop.
One of the most significant milestones this year was our collaboration with BMW Malaysia to launch the all-electric BMW iX2 in June 2024. As part of their #MakeItReal campaign, Natureloop was entrusted with creating eco-conscious event mementoes, each crafted from recycled post-consumer plastic and finished with a refined, minimalist touch. It marked a powerful alignment of values between sustainable design and innovation-driven mobility, setting a benchmark for responsible partnerships.
Before that, Natureloop was honoured to participate in the Orchid Run & Ride 2024, organised by Petronita, the Association of Wives and Women Staff of PETRONAS. This large-scale, community-driven event saw over 330 kilograms of plastic waste transformed into elegant medals and finisher plaques — all designed and produced in-house at Natureloop. These awards weren’t just symbolic tokens; they represented the collective action's impact on fitness and sustainability.
To make our upcycled awards more accessible to smaller events and clients with tighter budgets, we also launched the Naturewin Medals in 2024 — our first ready-to-order medal series with no minimum order quantity (MOQ).
Designed to be simple, professional, and environmentally responsible, Naturewin makes it easy for organisers of community events, schools, and niche competitions to opt for a greener solution. These medals are made using the same recycled plastic materials as our custom commissions, offering quality and sustainability in a streamlined, efficient format. This product launch was a turning point for us, helping bridge the gap between customised eco-design and practical, scalable solutions.
Later in the year, we also introduced our STARCRAFT Trophy, a sleek, futuristic award line that further pushed our commitment to sustainable innovation. Blending unique form, ready-to-order convenience, and circular materiality, STARCRAFT has already become a popular choice for organisations looking to make bold, environmentally conscious statements at their events.
Behind these public projects, Natureloop has also been deepening its internal research and development efforts. We’ve continuously tested new forms of recycled plastic, refined our moulding processes, and explored different finishes to improve our products' aesthetic and tactile quality. These improvements help us unlock more design possibilities while ensuring durability and scalability.
We want to offer more than project highlights as we reignite our blog. Moving forward, we’ll share more profound insights into our process, team stories, and how we collaborate with partners to turn waste into value. Whether a school asks for 10 medals or a corporation needs 1,000, we want to show that sustainable design can be inclusive, thoughtful, and beautifully made.
Thank you for staying with us on this journey. We’re excited to have you join us for the next loop.
