From July 15 to 18, 2025, NatureLoop showcased our mission to convert plastic waste into meaningful products at BSN (Bank Simpanan National) during an engaging four-day sustainability workshop for BSN employees. Held in BSN’s rooftop recreational area—featuring a gym, pantry, pool table, and even a karaoke room—the workshop allowed participants to witness and engage with 100% recycled plastic being transformed into practical items.
Each session started with an enlightening presentation by our founder, Brandon, who discussed the urgent environmental issues surrounding plastic waste and how NatureLoop addresses these challenges through design, innovation, and education. Participants then transitioned to interactive stations—creating coasters, crafting cutlery, and engraving—where they learned to operate our injection moulding machines, melt and shape plastic, and personalise their creations with engravings.
Tools and items for the workshop
Throughout the four days, we welcomed over 140 participants, with some returning for additional sessions to craft even more items. The final day attracted the largest crowd, starting with a trophy presentation to BSN in honour of their exceptional recycling initiatives. That day alone drew more than 140 attendees across three sessions, exceeding our initial expectations.
More than just crafting items, participants left with a richer understanding of how small, creative actions can significantly impact the planet. The atmosphere was lively, curiosity was infectious, and the smiles were heartfelt as everyone proudly took home their personalised, sustainable creations.
For the NatureLoop team, the workshop was not merely a showcase of our process; it was a fulfilling experience of collaboration, problem-solving, and community engagement. By the end of the four days, it was evident that when individuals are equipped with the tools and knowledge to create, they also find the motivation to safeguard the planet in meaningful ways.
