Score Marathon 2025: Where Endurance Meets Personalisation

Score Marathon 2025: Where Endurance Meets Personalisation

At NatureLoop, every project narrates a tale and Score Marathon 2025 was among our largest endeavors. With 30,000 participants ready to run in this year’s event, we were tasked with crafting all 30,000 medals each destined to become a treasured emblem of success.

The adventure commenced weeks before the first runner took their place at the starting line. Our workshop transformed into a bustling hub as boxes filled with metal medal components arrived. Initially, the process appeared simple: assemble, pack, and prepare for the grand day. However, mass production often brings unexpected challenges.

When the first batch arrived, we encountered an unforeseen obstacle, the colors of the metal printing were inconsistent, with numerous pieces displaying flaws. Sending them back was not an option; the event deadline was set, and the runners relied on us. Thus, our team tapped into their creativity. Equipped with red and black marker pens, we painstakingly painted over the imperfections by hand, one medal at a time.

It was a repetitive and meticulous task, sometimes resembling an endurance challenge of our own but it was also incredibly rewarding to witness each medal evolve from “almost ready” to “event-perfect.” Every lanyard we attached, every medal we packed, embodied our dedication to quality.

Then came 13 July 2025, event day. Our team arrived at Putrajaya’s Mahkamah Syariah by 2:00 AM, preparing our booth for the final, personal touch: laser engraving names and race times for the finishers.

As dawn broke, the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation as the first wave of runners crossed the finish line. Medal in hand, they approached our booth to enhance their victory with a personal touch. Some beamed shyly as we engraved their names, while others proudly displayed their race times to friends nearby. Despite minor hiccups like slower internet affecting QR code scans, the process ran smoothly due to teamwork and a collective resolve to make each medal unique.

When we finally wrapped up in the late afternoon, fatigue set in—but so did a sense of accomplishment. From the long hours in the workshop to the final moments of the event, we had created something truly special.
